The Politics of Morality
I've been researching quite a lot about apocalyptic thinking, and it very much is that kind of, it's good versus evil. And you almost sort of always turn someone like George Osborne say, where, you know, there's no real morality involved there. He just likes money, which is not a great personality trait, but you sort of know where you are. I guess faced with genuine existential threats to the planet and the economy, it sort of makes sense that these people feed into what's going on,. But instead of using their energy to combat the actual problems in front of them, they invent other ones. They may then further invent stories to further their own agendas.
