Becoming a Better Listener

When i look back at my life, the music that iave heard most deeply and has most enriched me is music that i have listened to with another person. And so there are so many memories that i have attached to moments where we were listening to an album or a piece of music together. That experience of shared listeninga built our relationship in special ways. We all of us have music that we put on to the background, but unless we're also putting on stuff that's in the ground, something that we're intentionally listening to and sucking the marrow out of. So my advice if you want to be a better listener is just pay deliberate attention.
