The Role of Technology in Connecting People
The less lifelike the technology is in terms of its ability to communicate cues and emotions, people don't feel as close a connection. Emotions turn out to be a glue that bring us together. So maybe there's a place for it for this technology in our relationships, but we need to be careful it's not taking over.
