The game will tip you when big state changes have happened like there's a massive horde incoming. And that gives you an indication of what direction to orient your forces around or how long you have till the wave hits. It's kind of it's kind of odd little system. But yeah, I can't, I certainly can't blame people for not getting it cause I think part of it is the game is so successful with a lot of other parts of its theming that you just kind of assume what should the Marines know in the situation?
