The Negative Effects of Social Isolation on Prisoners
Socially isolated people have problems processing information many times. This can lead to difficulties with decision making, memory storage and it's likely it could lead to an illness. People that are alone in the dark, the effects of isolation can become even more pronounced if you experience it in total darkness. Many prisoners have reported long-term mental health problems after being isolated.
