Inventions of Thomas Edison

In 18 70, thomas edison is already inventing the phonograph. He worked for 13 months on developing this incandescent light bulb. And finally he discovered a kind of carbonized cotton filamet that would allow the bulb to burn for forty hours. So when we talk about edison inventing the light bulb, we really can't call him the inventor, but edison was the first person to produce and manufacture a light bulb that was commercially viable.
