The Greenest Alternative to Cremation
Imba's father used accomation to dispose of his body. The process involves a body being soaked in alkaline hydrolysis solution at 160 degrees, and that basically melts it apart from the bones. It can be piedered and kept as a memorial or scattered like a traditional cremation. Only this method comes in at 20 kilograms of CO2 equivalent, rather than 126 kilograms CO2E that gas-fired cremation creates.
