The intelligible world, the world of ideas, is something to which we have more immediate access. And this is what later will call the a priori realm. For malebranche, we are somehow connected to thiselligible realm, which is kind of identical to god. But we have this direct and unmediated access to this intelligible realm. Whereas for other philosophers are just going to say that it actually just comes from our minds.
