Government Cover-ups: Watergate and Tuskegee Study

This chapter discusses two major government cover-ups: the Watergate scandal and the Tuskegee Study. The Watergate scandal involved a break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters and subsequent efforts by the Nixon administration to cover up their involvement. The Tuskegee Study, on the other hand, was an unethical medical experiment conducted by the United States Public Health Service that involved withholding treatment for syphilis from African American men in Tuskegee, Alabama.
