Data Localization

The bill says that the executive could at a later time decide what are those trusted geographies and it's not written into the law. This kind of also gives the government leverage in say deciding which countries to not allow data to be stored in. For now as I think about it the trusted geographies by all likelihood is going to be US, EU, things like that. It's possible that for example they may explicitly mention China as one of the excluded geographies.
