As we move towards more like collective accountability practices, discomfort becomes more available to us as a resource. These things are reciprocal. They exist in relationship, right? Discomfort is required for accountability and for collective accountability. And the more that we move towards collective accountability, we're just really centering the client's need, not the staff's infraction. So rather than rushing past or trying to smooth over those moments, we can stay connected as we learn how to show up better for each other.
