Introduction
If you do not want to engage with a parent who inflicted abuse on you, that's completely reasonable. You likely cannot change another person's sense of reality. But there is a way to say I'm an acceptance that this person has a different view of reality and it doesn't change my reality. It's my ambiolic breakdown. She's going to break it down for you because you know she knows a thing or two. And now she's going to broke it down. Even though that can feel really traumatic, if it feels retraumatizing, it's not healthy for you to be there.
