California's Violent Crime Rate Is Roughly Where It Was in the Late Eighties There, Early 90s
Violent crime rate is roughly where it was in two thousand ten, which is before the state embarked on a number of significant criminal justice reforms. We saw that they were pretty flat in 20 20, the first year of the pandemic. But we've seen the increases in homicides and aggravated assaults seemingly continued.
