The Law and the Prophets

Before Jesus came along, this is what many of them had been taught. They'd heard this. Don't do to another what you don't want done to you. This requires no compassion or love. It doesn't require anything of anybody except just mind your own business. Everyone who hears these words of mind and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
