What Is Laughter?
Laughter is a really weird, complicated, nero scientific, philosophical thing. And there are good kinds of laughter and bad kinds of laughter. One of the reasons why did you ever notice humor works is that we spend our lives feeling a little bit like we are an island in the world. It's this almost communal affirmational thing. If done right, it expresses itself often as laughter. I'm sure i put in more thought into what laughter is and how comedy works than a lot of people. Certainly not nearly as much as a lot of other people,. But everybody sort of of my generation older, intuitively grasps sort of what i'm talking about.
