I Don't See a Lion on the Dining Room Table

David Wheeler argues that there is a moral reality out there, in the same sense as physical reality. He says we can test both of those by consistency - i don't see a lion on the dining room table and it doesn't scratch me but other people do. Moral disagreements come down to people constructing different high level structures based on their perception of both moral and physical reality. The aim of morality is 'furnishing ourselves' rather than just our own well-being or others', he adds.
