Napoleon and the New Koran
Napoleon settles into his familiar routine of republican governorship. reforms egypt's law courts, reorganizes its national guard and utters the usual platitudes about liberation. He also professes a new found interest in islam. But napoleon ha become complaisant and distracted. There is that josephine problem again. Madame bonaparte recently informed her husband that she doesn't love him any more. Now she writes to napoleon informing him that she's purchased land to build a delightful new luxury home six miles outside of paris. It will be called malmaison.
