Will the Fed Be More Aggressive?
If financial conditions are easing, does that warrant more fet tighting than would otherwise be the case? I would sayit only if inflation expectations are also rising in sympathy. But bond market inflation expect tions are well off the hides, and they've recently stabilized. And so i don't think at the recent so called easing of financial conditions necessarily means the fet has to be a whole lot more aggressive.
