The word or prefix meta comes from ancient greek and essentially means beyond or aboutk beyond or about. In some cases it's an adjective, like when people say, well, that's, that's so meta. And in some cases it'm a prefix to a noun, like in metaphysical or meta verse. This is going outside of something and then looking back at the thing that you've transcended and kind of commenting on it, talking about it, and so on.
