Somers heads up the mountain quickly, leaving the climbing party behind before they can advance any further. He turns to look back at the climbing party and gasps. All he can see is a blank curtain of white. The snowfall has intensified in just the past few seconds. It's coming down quicker and heavier than ever. Another one of the adults dropped out. Somers is beginning to regret that they all didn't turn around with her.
