What Elements Are Most Common in the Universe?

Today on the podcast, we'll be talking about what elements are most common in the universe. We tend to categorize this stuff in the universe by the number of protons in the nucleus. So if adding another proton means you have to get another electron, why don't we categorize things by thenumber of electrons that are in there? I think it's probably because protons are more massive.
