Transwomen Are Women

Feminism has been under pressure to politically accommodate and vindicate the reality, especially of trans women. But does that mean you should then revert to a kind of feminism with many subdivisions? Some feminist would simply say, yes, you need a more fractured feminism with shifting coalitions and solidarities. Another approach would hope to identify something that all women share, regardless of the diversity of experience.
