In 89 I walked into the offices of Bay Area music magazine BAM with a handful of tear sheets. A few months later they called me and said we have your first cover can you go shoot camper van Beethoven Santa Cruz. "I shot Waits for the cover of the LA Weekly during bone machine right so my favorite" Tom Waits photo is up three feet all printed on aluminum it's amazing but that one was iced in tea for Neil Young covers Todd Rundgren, Rob Wasserman and James Palooza.
