Is Ambivalence Working in a Clinical Setting?

A lot of the times we're kind of unaware of our ambivalence. We don't acknowledge it consciously, he says. And that's when we get held back in his experience. He thinks a cultural expectation is that people should feel 100% unambivalent about every decision they make. But if we can acknowledge the parts that we're maybe afraid about or that we can recognize that, then I think we're really well prepared to move forward.
