The Differences Between Engineering and Biology in India

In India, the learning is more by rote. You'll be expected to learn definitions word for word. If you're a few words out, you failed. So it's very theory heavy. And I don't want to say the practicals, easy or anything, but there's less gravity on the practical element. They were slightly easier than the theory parts to pass. Whereas in the UK, it's a bit more like you'll do problem based learning and things. The other problem that I had was communication barriers with patients. The uni was in South India, and I'm North Indian. That must have been quite hard.
