How Doctors Think, Despite Not Being a Doctor

Theory of deductive reasoning dates back to aristotle and means moving from a general premise to a specific conclusion. In the late nineteenth century, people were not really interested in thinking about how doctors think. But by the 19 seventies, scholars started to become more interested in medical decision making. The primary model that was developed was called the hypothetic deductive model of clinical reasoning.
