Katie econ: I did some undergraduate research fitting potentials for interatomic interactions. That is something that really is amenable to these evolutionary or genetic techniques, where you have this multi-dimensional parameter space. Katie econ: If we want to create an optimal value for these A, B, and C parameters, we're going to have to really densely sample those three dimensions of parameter space.
