"I always went off Joshua Tree or I had a while to go climbing on the weekends you know Lou Langless," he says. "My uncle up in Canada would take me climbing once in a while as a kid and rarely but I just liked it." He recalls self-balling climbs of 5-8, 5-11 which is above his what he could do at that time. 'Well you just pull on your rope a little bit because I'mself-balling top rope again'
