The History of the British Empire

After the Napoleonic War there's an economic shock and we're very much in Georgian London. The 1830s are a period of growing tension in the country. There's worry about it's going to be another revolution. Aristocracy is still in control of loads of things. And there's a series of poor harvests, most famously the potato blight which caused so much tragedy in Ireland. It killed like a million people.
