Celebrities Make It Harder for Real Designers
According to Vogue the Olsen twins were up against a cynical audience of retailers. A lot of the time I think celebrity lines or celebrity fashion lines are just ways for famous people to make more money by selling poor quality products that they had nothing to do withjust for their fanbase. Vera Wang actually waited on this in 2007. She made a thinly veiled job at brands like the Row when she said celebrities have made it harder for real designers. If it was a smaller designer coming out saying celebrities make it hard for us, I would have more time.
