Become Children of God

John tells us that becoming like children is not something that comes from human decision or the will of someone, but says it comes from god alone. No amount of wishful thinking can make some one a child of god. Not by living within some moral confine orer of culture or performing religious duties. There's no amount of earnestness or perfection that can impart new life to us.
