Can You Afford Everything?

When I quit my job and announced to all of my friends that I was going on this big trip, a lot of them said, wow, I would love to do something like that, but I can't afford it. But the thing is my friends lived in bigger apartments than I did, drove nicer cars than I did. They ate out more and drank more alcohol and got their hair done and got their nails done and wore nicer clothes. And so when they told me that they couldn't afford it, I mean, frankly, I don't believe them. Because I think that they can't, many of them, could afford it. They just didn't make it a priority.
