The King's African Rifles
32 thousand workers of indian origine, largely from the punjab, are shipped in to help construct the uganda railway. It's run along typically colonial lines. Native troops known as the skadi serve under white officers. The regiment will serve with distinction through both world wars against the germans in east africa and the vice french in madagascar.
