Why You Can't Measure Road Traffic?
In the 2010s, the Department for Transport estimated a gentle upward trend in traffic across the country. Then every ten years, they do what they call the benchmarking study. And it was at this point that the shocking and previously unreported trend appeared. Minor road traffic was up a lot, especially in London. But the increase had come almost from nowhere.
