The Problem With Targeting in Indie Games
I don't think there's anything wrong with targeting that way. I just like, I have the same problem with it that I generally have with a game like Tunic. Did you play Tunic last year? I did not. How'd you like to? I viscerally hated Tunic because Tunic struck me as entirely about algorithmically creating a series of experiences that were designed to perform well. And I was, indie games are where my innovation comes from. It's where I go to play things that I wouldn't otherwise play. If you're looking for the longer Annapurna game, that's the one that you want.
