Is There a Difference Between Range of Motion and Hypertrophy?
Aaron: The questions I was trying to answer aren't the same ones I'm answering now. So initially my plan was to mostly just run some studies comparing doing a partial range of motion to a four range of motion in different sort of populations. But then eventually as I actually read literature on range of motion, muscle length, even as symmetric as different muscle lengths, the plans sort of changed from a more experimental design. He says his research is looking at whether one results in more muscle growth or strength gains. "I think people generally thought that specificity was important with their answers," he adds.
