The Execution of Sir Walter Raleigh

Sir walter raleigh was executed in 1618. He gave a speech before his death, but didn't admit any guilt or ask for the king's forgiveness. Raleigh refused to warm himself by the fire that was there specifically for that purpose. There are multiple sources that say his head stayed separate from his body and got carried around for a couple of decades.
