NATO - What Does That Change Entail?
In 1993-94, the Latvian Army is essentially a Soviet army. In 2004, and especially since then, it's a NATO army. What does that change entail? It wasn't really a Soviet army because unlike the satellite countries, which had Sovietized national armies, we didn't have anything. And when the Russians withdrew, they demolished as much as they could,. left us with as little as possible.
