The Vision of Habacuk
In verse two, havacuk is instructed to document and disseminate the vision as an official message. It seems most likely that the vision concerns the rest of the chapter. The meaning of the verb in the first of the five statements has been disputed. While traditionally commonly taken as breathe or pant, commentators increasingly now hold that the verb means to witness.
