The author writes an introduction where he says these are all his words. I don't wonder a little bit if it is meant to give him plausible deniability on his factual oopsies or if he even cares about that. Still there is much obscurity in the Indian traditions and so much confusion in the Indian names as to render some explanation useful. And then he spends a few pages talking about people and tribes and nations that I bet some of his facts are not correct. But obviously he's working from as we've already said kind of specious.
