The Progression of Augustus

After Augustus, we go back to the Republic, it's sort of dissolved or just over time. Nobody even remembers. When you think of who's left, maybe 1% of the people are over 76. But the 60s were an okay time for the Republic. To actually remember it and understand what was going on, you're probably 20 years old at that point. You have to be 96 to have any meaningful memory of a Republic that's actually functioning as it should.
