The Challenges of Recruiting a Good Interaction Designer

Clients were recognizing that I was providing value without actually having a tool set for doing that, but they did not know what I was. Am I an interaction designer, front-door developer, researcher? Or am I facilitator of workshops? It's so hard for them to place me in some compartment so that they could recruit more of me. They want to find, if they see something good, they want to find more of the same. If you were a credit, you were a hammer, they're never going to be allowed to get the toolbox.
