The Advantages of Planned in Advance Structure in TV Series
There are a number of TV shows in particular that use this kind of structure now. And sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Lost is one where it didn't work because you got to the final season, but the chances right now if you watch it are pretty slim. The payoff that we've been waiting for had better be worth it. It better be there. They better not stretch it out.
