The Importance of Job Transitions in Transfer Learning

The biggest source of improvement is when an individual's next job is the same as when they held earlier in their career, although not the one that they currently have. By using all prior jobs, the model can assign higher probability to previous jobs that the individual is likely to transition to. And we found the model was able to group together similar jobs and complete common trajectories.
