The Importation of Old Cars in the African Context

Ghana recently banned the import of older cars. Caudrène Guarte is a researcher at Columbia University in the US. He says it's not just Ghana, but the import of used vehicles has been happening across the African continent as a whole. Between 2015 and 2018, some 14 million used vehicles were exported from the European Union and Japan and the US.
