Women bore the largest burden of work at home, according to research. This is partly due to the fact that women with children in school age had to take a lot of responsibility for educating them. And so we see that those women actually exited the labour market at a much higher rate than men compared. Even in terms of mental health, you can see that women were affected much more by the pandemic than men. It's really, it really is a shame because you would think that there's only a way up in terms of labour market participation.
