i don't think we're at any kind of level of understanding what that means to be honest. Maybe you can split some one's brain and it would cause two identities. And i think that's perfectly fine with compatible ism. Both of them would have free will and the same body. It's not like, i chose to swing at the baseball whil i consciously saw the ball coming towards me.
