The Importance of Biofuels in the Transition to Electric Vehicles
TTT has created a new business called Arun Plus, which is essentially PTT's EV flagship. This is something that is very much linked to the national agenda as well. A big fear of the government is the loss of vehicle production in Thailand. We are seriously trying to disrupt ourselves in transferring to electric vehicles. That means just destroying our own gas demand. But we're fine with that because we know that, hey, eventually it's going to come and it makes much more sense for us to embrace it and lead it.
