The process of going public in the U.S. can be costly and take a long time, says Rebecca Kuchins. The founders often don't really get the full valuation of their company, she adds. There is also a litte bit of regulatory concern that didn't get vetted and turned out to be a fargiline exercise for many companies who want to go public.
