Carrie Corzercoa, Ph.D. - Lichen by Diversity

With his wife, jana corzercoa, who is also a lychenologist, they have begun a four year project working on lichen by diversity in the chaawan desert in mexico. Carrie was forced into retirement by a disability and wanted to study botany but couldn't afford it. She became enamoured with lichens when she found three of them behind her house.
